Aspiring to equip other fellows in the helping professions and other relevant capacities (e.g. pastoral care, volunteer befrienders), Carolyn has been devoted in developing and delivering training workshops on various topics.  Over the years, she has also been invited by different organizations and institutes, both in Singapore and other countries, like Malaysia, Taiwan, Bhutan, Australia and United States.

The possible training topics include, but not limited to...

  • Grief and bereavement

  • Palliative and end-of-life care

  • Patient care and caregiver support

  • Suicide assessment, crisis management and postvention

  • Interventions and aftercare of critical incidents

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

  • Couple counselling

Serving as a Training Faculty with the Portland Institute for Loss and Transition (PI), workshops conducted on meaning-oriented practices may also qualify for PI's accreditation leading to Certification in Meaning Reconstruction in Loss.  For more information, please visit the following website:
